A LONE WORKER WALKS ALONG DESERTED RAILWAY TRACK AT THE ZUID/MIDI STATION IN BRUSSELS.
A lone worker walks along a deserted railway track at the Zuid/Midi station in Brussels as train traffic in Belgium and five other European Union countries has been severely disrupted November 23 by a 24-hour strike. Railway strikes in Belgium, France, Greece, Spain, Luxembourg and Portugal were called in protest against a proposal by the EU's executive Commission to open 25 percent of the rail freight market to competition over the next 10 years.
