German President Johannes Rau and his wife Christina take part in a funeral service for Christiane Herzog, wife of former German president [Roman Herzog] in Dachau near Munich June 23. Christiane Herzog, 63, died of cancer on June 19 in Munich. Well-liked by the German public, she was best known as founder of a national group to help victims of cystic fibrosis and activities in the U.N. Children's Fund.
