BISHOP DESMOND TUTU SHAKES HANDS WITH SUPPORTERS IN SYDNEY.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu (R) shakes hands with two supporters holding South African flags after receiving an honorary doctorate of Law in recognition of his work for peace and mutual respect among racial groups from the University of Sydney November 26. Tutu said at a media conference earlier in the day that he was dissapointed South African President Thabo Mbeki had decided against a personal meeting with the Dalai Lama. Tutu will also receive later today the Sydney Peace Prize during his three-day visit to the country.
