This picture was on the wide-angled lens camera of Reuters Iraqi photographer Namir Noor-Eldeen, who was killed in Baghdad on July 12, 2007. The frame shows the lower legs of a U.S. soldier and the shadow of another. It was taken some 20 minutes after what appears to have been the last shot taken while Noor-Eldeen was alive. U.S. soldiers took Noor-Eldeen's two digital cameras from the scene in Baghdad's al-Amin al-Thaniyah neighbourhood after he was killed. It appears this shot was taken when the camera bumped against the leg of the soldier who was carrying it. The military returned Noor-Eldeen's cameras to Reuters on Sunday.
