The 600 kilogram Mokwena is the first black rhino to be re-introduced to the Cape Peninsula, a natural habit for the animals before they were hunted out over 350 years ago. He was relocated from the country's northern Mpumalanga province by reserve owner Lindsay Hunt in an effort to re-introduce historically indigenous animals to the area.
