Hong Kong police on Friday charged 16 followers, including four from
Switzerland, for obstruction offences after their Thursday protest
against Beijing's crackdown on the controversial spiritual movement. It
was the first time the local government had charged Falun Gong
adherents, according to the group. Chinese characters on the placard
