A Romanian policeman watches a worker carrying a painting of late communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu to an auction in the mountain resort of Sinaia, 120 km north of Bucharest November 13. Presents received by Ceausescu during his 25 year reign, were confiscated after the couple's execution on Christmas Day 1989. The centrist authorities will use the proceeds from the auctions to supplement the state budget.
