ROMANIAN MILITARY POLICEMEN BOUND FOR AFGANISTAN AT BUCHAREST'S
Romanian military policemen carry bulletproof vests at their base in
Bucharest January 10, 2002 as they prepare to go to Afghanistan.
Romania is offering 48 people, including 25 military policemen to join
the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan. The
full British-led multinational peacekeeping force in Afghanistan is
expected to eventually number 4,500 troops from up to 16 nations.
