Jeweller Ovidiu Paraianu displays a ring he created in the hopes of selling it to French President Nicolas Sarkozy for 6,000 euros ($8,877), in Bucharest February 1, 2008. The 5.12 gram ring shows a map of France surrounded by sapphires, rubies and diamonds and is meant for Sarkozy's girlfriend, former model Carla Bruni. The ring, with jewels the colours of the French flag, features a miniature replica of a sculpture by Romanian artist Constantin Brancusi who lived and worked in France.
