A Siberian maral, a subspecies of deer, has its antlers cut at a farm, near the village of Salba, some 610 km (379 miles) southeast of the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, June 15, 2009. Over 600 marals at this private farm undergo an annual cutting of their antlers, to be sold to pharmacological companies in Russia, China, Korea and South East Asia. Picture taken 15 June, 2009.
