Elizabeth from the state of Queensland, Australia, arrived in the Siberian region of Tuva in April, 2010 to study the Russian and Tuvan languages, the culture, traditions and music of the Tuvans, one of the native peoples of Siberia. The enthusiast, who studied music in the University of Queensland and is now a post-graduate student of the Australian National University in Canberra, is especially interested in studying the unique female Tuvan throat singing.
