Artist Sergei Bobkov, 55, measures a plasticine model-prototype before creating a life-sized sculpture of an Asian marmot made of cut chips at a workshop in a cellar of a local school in the settlement of Kozhany, 207 km (129 miles) southwest of Krasnoyarsk, June 5, 2012. Bobkov, who received a patent on manufacturing art sculptures made of cut chips, spent four months and used about 50,000 pieces of Siberian cedar to create a marmot piece.
