Diana, an Amur leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis), also known as the Far Eastern leopard, Korean leopard and the Manchurian leopard, growls in her enclosure at the Royev Ruchey zoo in a suburb of Russia's Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk August 7, 2012. Diana, a resident of the zoo, is taking part in a breeding programme with a male leopard, Kostik, brought from another zoo in the city of Abakan in the Khakassia region. According to zoo employees there are 25-35 Amur leopards remaining in the wild, making it one of the most endangered species of large cats in the world.
