An activist from women's rights group FEMEN gestures from a window during a court session in Kiev July 28, 2013. The Femen group says its activists were beaten up and kidnapped pre-emptively when they were on their way to protest against the baptism celebrations and visits by Putin and Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill. Ukrainian law enforcers did their best to shield Putin from the famous local - and now internationally active - topless protesters from the Femen women's rights group. Kiev police said on Saturday they had detained three Femen activists and a photographer from Russia who was with them, as they posed for pictures in public, bare to the waist. The slogan reads: "Free protests!" REUTERS/Valentyn Ogirenko (UKRAINE - Tags: POLITICS CIVIL UNREST CRIME LAW)
