Newly elected President Thabo Mbeki shares a joke with Deputy-President Jacob Zuma after Mbeki's first address to the country's Parliament as President, June 25. Mbeki recieved a standing ovation after his address in which he called on South Africans to stamp out crime and corruption to make the 21st century an African century.
