South African software entrepreneur Mark Shuttleworth, who is set to
become the first African in space in April, answers questions during an
interview in Cape Town, January 5, 2002. Shuttleworth said he would
carry his country's flag and scientific experiements prepared by South
African scientists, but that domestic financial rules made it
impossible for him to live in his home country. Shuttleworth currently
