Salvadorean ural worker Antonio Barrientos, 54-year-old, drinks water from a newly constructed pipeline February 10 in Guaymango province which will bring running water to over 30,000 people in nine cantons of the province, around 100km west of the capital. This is one of several projects run by foreign aid organizations to bring running water to 85% of El Salvador's rural communities, in a work for food program. The rural workers will build the infrastructure in exchange for food, in the US$2.06 million project.
