AFTERMATH OF BUS PLUNGE OFF BRIDGE IN SEATTLE.
Debbie Bacon of Mill Creek, Washington looks down upon the apartment building November 28 where a King County Metro bus plunged about 60 feet off of the Aurora Bridge in Seattle after its bus driver was shot in the arm by a passenger on November 27. There were 35 passengers on board the articulated bus as it plowed through the concrete guardrail on the bridge and then crashed upon an occupied 8-unit apartment building below. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene after he was thrown from the bus and one male passenger also died of gunshot wounds. The 25 injured passengers were taken to six area hospitals including a possible shooting suspect.. Seattle Police are considering this a homicide investigation.
