Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra talks to Muslim women in southern Thailand's Narathiwat province....
Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra (R) talks to Muslim women who were among nearly one thousand Buddhists who gathered to join him in an annual robe-giving rite at the Tak Bai temple in southern Thailand's Narathiwat province, more than 1150 km (714 miles) south of Bangkok on November 7, 2004. The temple is near a police station where seven Muslim protesters died in clashes with security forces on October 25, which led to another 78 deaths in army custody while the protesters were being transported to military barracks.
