A woman passes by an Austrian KFOR armoured vehicle guarding the main bridge in the ethnically divided town of Mitrovica, November 29, 2011. Serbian President Boris Tadic called on Serbs in the former province of Kosovo on Tuesday to abandon roadblocks in the lawless north, saying the impasse was damaging Belgrade's bid to join the European Union. The call followed violent clashes between Serbs and NATO peacekeepers on Monday in which more than 20 Austrian and German soldiers were wounded, including two by gunfire, and dozens of Serbs were hurt.
