Tanya Ellis, an Australian Aborigine from Sydney, practices her dance routine while two Brolgas (Sarus Cranes) walk behind her at the Singapore Zoo March 22. Ellis, a 24-year-old from the Gamileroi tribe, is a member of the Sydney-based REM Theatre which is currently in Singapore performing as part of an Australian arts festival. Her Aboriginal totem is also the Brolga, the crane that she brings to life in her troupe's "dreamtime" story
