A member of the Peranakan Society looks at a display of wedding procession clothes at the Peranakan Museum in Singapore April 25, 2008. The museum, which opens in the city-state on Saturday, is touted as having the world's biggest collection of Peranakan artefacts. Peranakans refer to descendants of Chinese migrants who came to the Malay peninsula from the 14th century onwards. After marrying local women, they settled down and formed a hybrid culture that was a mix of Chinese, Malay and European influences. REUTERS/Vivek Prakash (SINGAPORE)
