Kranji War Cemetary by his son Mark in Singapore February 15, 2002. A
total of 22 WWII veterans and four war widows from Australia came to
Singapore to mark the 60th anniversary of the fall of Singapore to the
Japanese during the Second World War. There are now 4,458 Commonwealth
casualties of the Second World War buried or commemorated at Kranji War
