PLOW WORKS TO CLEAR SNOW IN NEW YORK DURING WINTER STORM.
A New York City trash truck fitted with a plow clears snow behind two
taxis in Midtown Manhattan during a fierce winter storm February 17,
2003. The storm, which slammed the northeast United States with heavy
snow and high winds, was expected to leave 18 to 22 inches of snow in
New York City, which had 1,300 plows and 148,000 tons of salt ready to
clear streets. REUTERS/Mike Segar
