COLUMBIA RETURNS TO KENNEDY SPACE CENTER.
The space shuttle Columbia touches down at the Kennedy Space Center in
Cape Canaveral, Florida March 12, 2002. The shuttle returns with seven
crewmembers after a refurbishment mission to the Hubble Space
Telescope. The seven-astronaut crew installed new wing-like solar-power
arrays on the telescope, added a new gyroscopic steering device, a new
power control unit and a phone-booth sized digital camera - the most
sensitive optical device ever to fly in space. REUTERS/Joe Skipper
