ATTENTION EDITORS: SPANISH LAW REQUIRES THAT THE FACES OF MINORS ARE MASKED IN PUBLICATIONS WITHIN SPAIN
Teresa Jimenez (L), 27, holds her one-year-old son Luis Miguel next to her husband Luis Miguel Martin, 34, as they wait before learning that their eviction was suspended in Torrejon de Ardoz, near Madrid, May 5, 2014. Jimenez, Martin and their four children have been occupying the apartment that belongs to the IVIMA (Madrid Housing Institute), for about five years. The family lives on help from within their own family, charity groups, occasional odd jobs and dealing with scrap. The eviction has been suspended due to ongoing negotiations about a social rent.
