POLICEMEN REMOVE REMAINS OF VICTIM AFTER ETA CAR BOMB IN VITORIA.
Spanish policemen remove the remains of Socialist politician Fernando Buesa after he was killed by a car bomb in the Basque country capital of Vitoria February 22. A car bomb explosion killed Buesa and his bodyguard in an attack blamed on the separatist querrilla group ETA, officials said. The bombing came less than three weeks before a general election and was the second fatal attack attributed to the guerrillas since they ended their 14-month ceasefire in early December.
