Bull runners lead a fighting bull into Pamplona's arena after the third run through the town July 9 during the centuries-old fiesta made internationally famous by Ernest Hemingway's book "The Sun Also Rises", published in 1926. The fiesta is best known for its "encierros", or running-of-the-bulls, which take place each morning during the week-long fiesta.
