A pair of Magallanes penguins frolick in their enclosure in the
Antartic section of Valencia's Oceanografic, Europe's biggest
oceanarium with 45,000 living creatures of 500 different species in
42,000 litres of water, the equivalent to 15 Olympic swimming pools,
November 16, 2003. The aquarium recreates the world's most important
marine ecosystems so as to enable research and teaching involving the
water environment, and to contribute to the protection of marine life.
The Magellanic penguin breeds around the coasts of Chile and Argentina,
