South Africa "A" side rugby union lock Geo Cronje was expelled from the
Springbok's rugby world cup training squad over allegations of racism,
The Cape Argus reported August 28, 2003. The South African Rugby
Football Union (SARFU) said they are investigating claims that Cronje
refused to room with a black member of the squad. Cronje attempts to
