Former Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Bill Mazeroski is overcome
with emotion as he attempts to make his speach during his induction
into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown New York, August
5, 2001. Mazeroski, a 10 time All-Star for the Pirates collected 2,016
hits over his 17 year career and was the first player to end a World
Series with a home run which he did in 1960, was inducted into the Hall
of Fame along with Dave Winfield, Kirby Puckett and Hilton Smith.
