San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Mark Gardner is frustrated on the Giants bench after giving up four runs to the Arizona Diamondbacks after only three innings, April 16. Gardner was relieved by former Diamondbacks pitcher Alan Embree after Gardner gave up seven runs on nine hits and balked once by the fifth inning. The Giants lost 10-4 as the Diamondbacks hit four home runs, increasing the league leading total to twenty four.
