Former New York Yankees Wade Boggs throws out the first pitch to kick-off the Yankees 2005 Grapefruit Season at Legends Field in Tampa, Florida on March 3, 2005. Boggs played five seasons with the Yankees and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005. The Yankees opened their 2005 Grapefruit League season against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
