Jens Heppner of Germany crosses the finish line to win the 169km third stage of the Tour de France from Roscoff to Lorient July 14. Frenchman Xavier Jan was second with American George Hincapie third. Bo Hamburger of Denmark took over the race lead. The Tour entered France today after the first two stages took place in Ireland.
