Italian Marco Pantani climbs the Col de Port on his way to win the 170-km 11th stage of the Tour de France cycling race July 22. The second day in the Pyrenees took the race from Luchon to Plateau de Beille with climbs over the Col de Mente and Col de la Core with an uphill finish at Plateau de Beille. German Jan Ullrich retains his leader's jersey.
