Miami Heat assistant coach Bob McAdoo holds a news conference May 24 after an announcement that the former Los Angeles Lakers great will be among the Class of 2000 for induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame. McAdoo played 14 years in the NBA that included three scoring titles, four All-Star appearences, two NBA Championships, and the NBA Most Valuable Player in Award in 1975. McAdoo, who also played seven years in the Italian League, will be inducted October 13.
