GERMANY'S HEIKO KROEGER LEADS THE FLEET AT PARALYMPICS SAILING ON SYDNEY HARBOUR.
Germany's Heiko Kroeger (L) heads back down the course as some fellow-racers continue upwards during racing in the individual men's 2.4 metre class at the Paralympic Games Sailing competition on Sydney Harbour October 26, 2000. Kroeger has won five out of the eight races run, and is in an unbeatable lead to take the gold medal with just one race remaining. More than 4000 disabled athletes from 125 countries are competing in 18 sports at the eleventh Paralympic Games.
