Great Britain's Mike Browne (L) sails behind Norway's Jostein Stordahl during Race 7 in the individual men's 2.4 metre class at the Paralympic Games Sailing competition on Sydney Harbour October 26, 2000. Browne finished in eighth place behind Stordahl in seventh, with Germany's Heiko Kroeger, having won five out of the eight races run, in an unbeatable lead to take the gold medal with just one race remaining. More than 4000 disabled athletes from 125 countries are competing in 18 sports at the eleventh Paralympic Games.
