ULLI HOENESS, MANAGER OF FC BAYERN MUNICH CELEBRATES AFTER MATCH AGAINST LOCAL RIVALS TSV 1860 MUNICH....
FC Bayern Munich commercial manager Uli Hoeness (L) celebrates with Otmar Hitzfeld (R), coach of FC Bayern after the German first division soccer match against local rivals TSV 1860 Munich in Munich's olympic stadium, October 21, 2000. FC Bayern Munich won the match 3-1. Hoeness had earlier been involved in a bitter dispute with Leverkusens coach Christoph Daum over the private live of Daum. Hoeness, who is one of the greats of German soccer, said that if allegations of improper behaviour against Daum were true then he was unfit to become Germany's national coach next June when his contract as coach of Bayer Leverkusen expired. The German Football Association (DFB) said on Saturday that Christoph Daum would not become Germany's coach as planned after he failed a drug test.
