Leeds United soccer player Michael Duberry arrives at Hull Crown Court after testifying yesterday that he lied to police March 22, 2001. Duberry, charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, told a court in Hull, northern England that he lied to police to protect his "best friend" and team mate Jonathan Woodgate who, with player Lee Bowyer and two other men, is charged with serious assault.
