Tamil Tiger rebels bombed an army bus in Colombo on Wednesday killing four people and wounding 24, military and hospital officials said, the latest in a series of attacks as renewed civil war deepens. The attack came a day after prominent opposition Tamil parliamentarian T. Maheshweran was shot dead at a Hindu temple in the capital, a killing the opposition blamed on the government for failing to ensure his security.
