The boy's parent were pushed out of the northern Jaffna peninsula nearly a decade ago by Tamil Tiger rebls who are fighting for a separate homeland for Tamils in the country's north and east. Thousands of Moslems in Jaffna, who left their homes after being given hours to vacate, face a dismal furure as there is little likelihood of them returning. Picture taken on May 19.
