Sri Lankan security forces sealed off the capital in a hunt for rebel suicide bombers on Friday after the government imposed a surprise curfew on the city. Security forces in Colombo detained hundreds of ethnic Tamils for questioning. The city, under a 14-hour curfew, was deserted.
