Sri Lankan fishermen, on a two-day strike to protest rising diesel and kerosene prices, play cards in the western coastal town of Negombo January 12, 2001. Thousands of fishermen are on a two-day strike and have planned a protest rally on Saturday against the price hikes which the goverment has said was necessary due to rising global oil prices.
