Commander Scott Waddle (R) arrives March 6, 2001 with his wife Jill (L) and his civilian attorney Charles Gittins (top) for the inquiry at Pearl Harbor Naval Base into the collision of the submarine USS Greeneville and the Japanese fishing trawler Ehime Maru off the coast of Oahu, Hawaii. The two ships collided February 9 off the coast of Oahu Hawaii; nine students and crew members died in the accident.
