Members of a family rest while waiting for barges in order to continue their journey home, in a camp in the Nile port city of Kosti September 21, 2011. Almost 13,000 Southern Sudanese are stranded in Kosti in White Nile State, living in tents and makeshift houses while waiting for barges to bring them home. Most of them arrived from Khartoum before or right after South Sudan's independence on July 9 by car and had hoped to continue their way home by Nile barge. But a shortage of barges has left southerners waiting in the scorching heat of a large camp. REUTERS/Mohamed Nureldin Abdallah (SUDAN - Tags: POLITICS SOCIETY)
