REFERENDUM ON LEGALIZATION OF ABORTION IN SWITZERLAND.


Swiss Minister of Justice Ruth Metzler comments on the results of a
referendum on legalization of abortion in Switzerland June 2, 2002 in
Berne. Switzerland is set to legalise abortion until 12 weeks of
pregnancy in a referendum June 2, 2002, which would bring the law in
line with current practice while the country catches up with the rest
