The Rhine Falls are seen in the town of Neuhausen, south of Schaffhausen, July 5, 2012. The Rhine Falls are the largest falls in Europe, with an average flow of 700 m3 per second (25,000 cubic ft/sec) the water cascades down the cataracts, which are 150 metres (450 ft) wide and 23 metres (75 ft) high.
