Abu Ahmad, father of baby Jalal, carries his son next to his wife Em Ahmad and their daughter, Amal, in the Al-Shaar neighbourhood hospital of Aleppo May 5, 2014. Fifteen-day-old baby Jalal suffered a light head injury due to shelling, and was separated from his family. He was moved to a hospital in Al-Sakhour neighbourhood to receive treatment while his mother, who suffered head and stomach injuries, was moved to Al-Shaar neighbourhood hospital. The baby was presumed dead or missing by his parents, and his doctors thought his family died during the bombing. Jalal's parents found him after three days of extensive searching.
