A Formosan Gem-faced Civet looks out of it's cage in Gu Keng in Taiwan
A Formosan Gem-faced Civet looks out of it's cage as coffee fruit shells are sprawled on the floor inside a plantation in the coffee and tea producing village of Jhang-hu in the Gu Keng area of Yunlin County November 1, 2007. A coffee-maker in Gu Keng has discovered a new way of cultivating coffee seeds by feeding Formosan Gem-faced Civets the coffee fruit and collecting the coffee seeds after it has gone through the digestive system and is excreted by the civet. The coffee is later roasted, packaged and sold in the local market at 3000TWD ($92) for a pound. REUTERS/Nicky Loh (TAIWAN)
